Gown Session

I recently Bought an antique settee to photograph formal sessions and baptism gown sessions. I fell in LOVE with it the second i saw it! My in laws introduced me to the ESTATE SALE world when we got married and started decorating our home and i have been hooked ever since! ITS awesome if you have never been to one email me and i will give you some places to find them. ANYWHO back to the baptism gown portraits.  I took them in my studio and i am very pleased with the way they turned out! Madilyn was photographed in this same gown at the same age( 8months) and wanted to capture the same feeling so that when i hang Westons 16x20 framed portrait in our entry way i will smile just as much :)

weston Baptism

We had a wonderful Baptism Service for Weston at Ryans uncles church right down the road from our home. Providence Presbyterian Church it was a beautiful service by John Schmidt our Pastor from Centerpoint Fellowship Church.  Weston did a great job and didn't cry at all during the service (even when cold water was put on his head) :) The Church was beautifully decorated by Jimmy Sellars with cut greenery. After the service of singing Christmas hymns we went to the fellowship hall and had yummy food. THank you friends and family for coming and making it a special night.

Few more Christmas photos

We love Christmas but try not Andover dot it. We try and keep it simple and remember the reason for the season!
Madilyn asked to make cookies for her mmo class so we did. She asked to make a gingerbread house so we did. It has been so fun! We went to see the tacky lights in Cloverdale . We had such a great Christmas truly blessed!
