Roan Mtn Trip 08

We went to my mom and Roberts cabin the week after Christmas. It is 8 hrs away and it took about 10 but Madi did very good no crying she watched Elmos World ,Tubbies,and slept. We needed to get away after a busy Christmas. Its so nice to go up there and cook, eat, wear P.J.s all day and sit in front of the fire. We went out one day to take pictures on top of Carvers Gap. Madilyn did very good she was bundled up and road in her jogging stroller up and Ryan carried her back down b/c he thought she was too cold. We stayed almost a week and enjoyed it very much I wish that it had snowed so Madi could have seen snow, maybe next time.

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning we opened gifts and cooked breakfast just Ryan,Madi and I . Then we all got ready and headed to uncle jimmys for the Sellars Christmas lunch. We had great food and opened more gifts. Madilyn had too many and she loved the paper and bows the most. We got some great pictures on Christmas.










Christmas night Grandan came to see Madi and bring her a Santa outfit which was too cute and a jumper to jump in she loved it!! The best entertainment ever to see her jump in that thing.


This was a great Christmas and I know that every year will just get better and better.

Madi goes for her 6-7 month check up in the morning so stayed tuned for her update.

Christmas eve night

WE went to my moms church for candlelight and then her home for dinner. We had a big time Madilyn had the most presents of all i couldnt believe all of her loot. THe funniest is the snowman hat that Robert found. I will post Christmas day later just too much to do in one day.

Madilyns first Christmas

We had a big Christmas!! I guess you could say we had 4 of them like the movie. Which im dying to see. So we had Christmas at my dads mothers on Christmas eve lunch and we had great food and madi got some teletubbie dolls which she loves to watch. Here are some pics from lunch.

Madilyn rides the train!

My dad, aunt ,cousin,and sister decided to go to the Zoo to take Madilyn to ride the train and see the lights. She loved it she watched the lights and got excited. We also took her to see Santa at the zoo and she did very good again. Im sure next year it might be different.

Thanksgiving week

We had a small but great Thanksgiving at my grandmothers house wed night to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday. My dad my aunt,Danna, and ryan. We had such great food and Madilyn did so great she ate some of her food too. THe next day we went to my moms house for lunch and my uncle Andy got to meet Madiyln for the first time. We didnt go to the Sellars this year b/c we went last year and b/c we eat with them every sunday for lunch. So we ate with them for lunch on sunday. On sat we went to bass pro shop and got Madis picture taken with Santa and she did sooo good. After we went there we went to Brad & Aps to watch the game and Madilyn played with Brady i got a few cute pics.It was a long week!!! but fun.
